Drilling, Completion and Mechanical Services
Baker Atlas created the first ballistic perforating system in 1932. Since then, the oil and gas industry has experienced an increase in the complexity of completion operations and systems. Baker Hughes has met many challenges of designing and implementing completions for hostile environments and rock-structure-sensitive areas. As a result, Baker Hughes' multi-functional completion systems are constantly being upgraded. We continue to modify our designs and reconfigure our equipment to improve efficiency and reliability while allowing maximum flexibility in each operation.
Baker Hughes' industry-leading technology is evident in the new line of Predator XP perforating charges. Predator XP charges were specifically designed to maximize connectivity to the reservoir by penetrating beyond any damaged zone around the wellbore.
The perforating systems are complimented by the award winning Segmented Bond Tool (SBTSM) and the Radial Analysis Cement Bond Log (RALSM) that provide detailed evaluations of the cement bond to casing and formation with a 360 degree radial cement map. |
