Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
Solution
A new 16" Genesis bit was used to set an Algerian ROP
record. The bit, which completed the section in one run, drilled 35%
faster than the best offset, cutting 9.25 days off the well plan.
The Genesis design also achieved the best ROP in the area for a bit
in this size range.
