Industry Award for Intelligent Well Systems and Expandable Technology
Hart’s E&P, the prestigious oil industry publication, awarded two 2002 Special Meritorious Awards to Baker Oil Tools.
The first recognized the InCharge all-electric Intelligent Well System,
which was successfully deployed in Brazil in 2001. The system can control production by opening and closing downhole valves via satellite from the customer’s base office 165 miles from the well site.
The second award recognized EXPRESS expandable sand control screen,
which combines technology from the EXCLUDER well screen
and expandable perforated base pipe for superior durability.
