Compliance

Baker Hughes has set high standards for Integrity and Compliance. Our corporate culture is based on four Core Values: Integrity, Teamwork, Performance and Learning. The Core Values begin with the statement: “Integrity is the foundation for our individual and corporate actions.”

Integrity is apparent throughout our organization. It is evident in the thousands of decisions made by our employees’ everyday. Integrity is reflected in our system of internal controls and our books and records.

Ethical business practices and compliance with regulations, policies, procedures and the law are expected and demanded by our company. As a result, our employees will not compromise the company’s ethical standards and reputation for economic gain. The core value of Integrity is backed by detailed policies and resources to support them.

All Baker Hughes employees must adhere to our Business Code of Conduct. Thousands of employees have received training and been tested on their knowledge regarding ethical behavior. Our Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer supervises such training and ensures that there is proper legal support regarding complex ethics and compliance issues.
