All Baker Hughes employees are required to conduct company business in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including the anti-bribery laws, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, antitrust laws, anti-boycott laws, labor and employment laws, customs laws and regulations, and intellectual property laws. All employees are required to understand the laws, regulations and related Baker Hughes policies that are apply to their job roles.

The Baker Hughes Legal Department provides essential legal assistance to enable Baker Hughes to lawfully achieve its goals and objectives. The group conducts a variety of compliance seminars and on-line courses available at the Legal Resource University.
