Intellectual Property Security

A significant portion of a company's shareholder value is derived from its intellectual property. In many organizations, up to 50% of the assets or other sources of value are intangible. Intangible assets include copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. Trade-secret loss is a growing problem, and recent reports indicate individuals and institutions from the private and public sectors are attempting to acquire sensitive technology. ES&CM works closely with our business units to mitigate this threat and to aggressively investigate potential losses of intellectual property.
