The internal HSE audit program is an ongoing review of our operations to ensure personnel safety and environmental protection. Audits enable us to identify risk, determine the degree of implementation and effectiveness of the HSE Management System, and evaluate compliance with applicable regulations. In many cases, our facilities also are audited by third parties, including regulatory agencies, customers, and certifying bodies.
In addition to recognizing locations for noteworthy efforts and identifying best practices that can be shared with other locations, auditors identify gaps or findings.
