562 SP and XP Potheads

Improve reliability with patented well fl uid sealing features

The new 562 SP™ and XP™ potheads offer enhancements to an already robust product. The new potheads deliver patented well fluid sealing features and design improvements that increase electrical properties between the cable and motor.

As a result, the SP and XP potheads offer higher temperature, voltage, and amperage ratings to meet the growing demands on electrical submersible pumps (ESP) while improving the electrical properties of the motor connection. Although a small part of the complete ESP system, the electrical motor connection is significant because it provides the power to operate the system downhole. With this in mind, Baker Hughes engineers have designed the potheads to withstand a wide range of electrical and environmental conditions. These improvements mitigate mean time between failures (MTBF).
