SP Performance series

Baker Hughes designs and manufactures a complete line of electrical submersible pumping (ESP) system cables specifically for the oil and gas industry. The SP™ Superior Performance series cables are designed to help operators maximize production in a wide range of challenging downhole conditions. Baker Hughes power cable designs have become the industry standard for reliability and durability.

CPE (round) cable is ideal for shallow oil wells and water wells where temperatures do not exceed 176°F (80°C). This unarmored cable is a highly affordable solution for oil wells with high water cuts. The insulation is white polypropylene protecting a tinned copper conductor. The high density polyethylene jacket can stand up to abrasion, yet remain flexible in cold conditions.
