Geomechanics for Wellbore Stability Optimization

Wellbore stability problems are known to cost the oil and gas industry billions of dollars each year. However, these costs can be significantly reduced through the application of comprehensive geomechanical models. Since 1996, GMI has been combining its expertise in geomechanics with proprietary software to build highly robust models to provide recommendations on specific operational parameters, helping our clients understand the link between wellbore instability and geomechanics.
