PETROSWEET H2S Scavengers
Boost production without creating intractable solids and mineral scalesUsing a significant leap in technology for tower and direct-injection chemical programs, the Baker Hughes PETROSWEET™ HSW7336 and PETROSWEET™ HSW7334 hydrogen sulfide (H2S) scavengers do not create the intractable solids and mineral scales typically generated by traditional triazine scavengers– improving production, lowering costs, and mitigating environmental concerns.
Boost production
Adding PETROSWEET H2S scavengers to your chemical program, either in tower or direct injection applications, boosts production by reducing or eliminating the formation of the scale that obstructs flow. In tower applications, the PETROSWEET HSW7336 scavenger minimizes the production of solids that would require tower cleanouts and packing replacements, reducing downtime and ensuring that production stays on schedule.
Reduce operations costs
Because the few solids that the PETROSWEET HSW7336 scavenger produces are water-soluble, the cost of tower cleanouts is much lower. Both this scavenger and PETROSWEET HSW7334 scavenger for direct injection applications form spent products that are typically compatible with produced water. This eliminates the need for a separate storage tank or costly trucking and waste disposal costs.
