VSFusion

Receive the greatest value from your data

At VSFusion, our geophysicists process borehole seismic data—both VSP and microseismic—for customers who are seeking superior data solutions. Each dataset is treated as an individual project so you receive the greatest data value. Most of our staff have over 10 years experience in processing and interpreting these data.

VSFusion was organized in 2003 by a merger between CGG Borehole and the Baker Hughes downhole seismic services processing group solely to process any form of downhole seismic data.

Now, as a joint venture of Baker Hughes and CGGVeritas, VSFusion processes data acquired by the parent companies and data acquired by other companies. Located in 12 offices around the world, we can also process data in any of the Baker Hughes or CGGVeritas offices worldwide, at your office, or at the rigsite.

We have the industry’s largest dedicated borehole seismic R&D group. This special projects group is continuously developing superior and patented techniques that add value to your data.

VSFusion purchased Magnitude in 2006. Magnitude’s 20 years of microseismic event location was the foundation of our borehole hydraulic fracture mapping service and, more recently with CGGVeritas, surface microseismic. Seismologists, engineers, and programmers offer tailored microseismic solutions.
