Pipe-Conveyed Logging

Get the right data for the right decisions in the most challenging wells

The Baker Hughes pipe-conveyed logging system allows you to collect the data you need in the most challenging environments. This includes tortuous well paths and highly deviated, horizontal, or washed-out holes where unassisted wireline operations are not applicable.

The logging instruments are conveyed on drillpipe. A side-entry sub allows the wireline to be run inside the drillpipe to establish a mechanical and electrical connection with the downhole instruments.

The drillpipe and wireline next are synchronously moved in and out of the hole as needed to perform the intended logging operations even in combination with a motion-compensated system on semisubmersible platforms.
