Baker Hughes hammer services are the efficient solution for any large-diameter tubular driving job, such as conductor driving, caisson installation, and pile driving. The tool can operate at most angles, including horizontally and underwater without energy loss.
These services include connection makeup and handling equipment, including a patented conductor torquing system, internal lift tools, side-door elevators, bowl and slips, and safety clamps.
For conductor and caisson driving, depend on the Baker Hughes Hydrohammer™ family of hydraulic hammers that drives piles deeper and faster than any other design. Ideal for use onshore or offshore, the Hydrohammer family sends concentrated blows to the pile, resulting in a much more efficient operation. This technology also is environmentally friendlier than diesel hammers.
We can adjust the amount of energy per blow. A safety control automatically shuts down the system if a pile penetrates ahead of the hammer, the blow energy is set too high, or the hammer is positioned incorrectly. Individual blow energy can be measured and displayed in real time. All information, which is captured electronically, can be used to generate a job report. Baker Hughes Drive Predictor™ software and high-quality fabrication and welding services also contribute to your project’s success.
Reclaim used platform slots cost effectively
Our specialized, large-diameter, drive-pile whipstocks can reclaim used platform slots, which is cost effective compared with expensive washovers and pipe-recovery operations. No platform modifications are necessary. This tool can be used without a drilling or platform rig. Diving operations are not required. With the new conductor installed, a completely new well can be drilled.
