Social Responsibility

Supporting our communities as a good neighbor

As part of our commitment to operating excellence, we hire qualified local talent in each geomarket, supporting these professionals with the right training and the right opportunities.

When available, we also source products and services from local vendors who have passed our quality audit. We recognize our responsibility to assist the government with achieving its national development plan.

Additionally, we’re working in many communities to further social service needs.

Duri community development

In April 2007, we began a community development program. In one school for special-needs children, we supplied classroom furniture; in one of the area’s high schools, we sponsored a marching band.

We’re also maintaining village community centers with computers, furniture, and facility repairs.

We built volleyball and basketball courts and donated badminton, soccer, and other sporting equipment to local schools and villages.

Jakarta orphanage

In 2010, while some of our employees were visiting a Jakarta orphanage, we noticed the absence of playground equipment. We responded immediately with a slide and swings for the younger children and basketballs and portable hoops for the older children.

Our employees have enthusiastically embraced the initiative by volunteering their time to visit and entertain the children with songs and games. We’re planning a regular sponsorship for the orphanage.

Coin a chance

Our Jakarta employees have been involved in this program since the beginning of 2010.

This program encourages the collection of spare change, which is donated to children who otherwise could not afford to go to school.

We’re identifying additional areas where we can assist the local community and make an impact, especially in the field of education. We’re committed to enhancing the quality of life in the communities where we work.
