Baker Hughes Canada achieves these goals through application of ISO/TS 29001:2007: Quality System Requirements for the Petroleum, Petrochemical, and Natural Gas Industries. The Canada Region Quality Assurance & Reliability Teams are focused on process conformity and compliance through annual facility and regular process audits, as well as supplier compliance with Baker Hughes requirements.
Data is collected and analyzed to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Six Sigma® tools are applied to execute these improvements using the DMAIC Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control process.
Management supports the Baker Hughes Quality System through regular management reviews at multiple levels of the organization. Customer satisfaction is measured at regular intervals through broad based surveys; the information is reviewed and acted on in the management reviews.
