Helix|CT is being used to scan longer parts faster, and with better quality. This acquisition technique reduces artifacts observed in Feldkamp reconstructions, enabling better results on horizontal surfaces and preventing stitching artifacts. Helical sample rotation scans capture the upper and lower sections of a sample to provide a clearer image, eliminating the need to combine the results of several partial scans and stitch them together afterwards.
