CENesis ESP System Improves Oil Production 19% and Gas Production 62% vs. Gas Lift

An operator in the STACK play in Oklahoma deployed a gas lift system in a newly completed well, but the system limited reservoir pressure draw down and did not optimize the well’s inflow performance. The operator was seeking an alternative artificial lift solution to increase the oil and gas production and optimize well performance.

Based on years of experience with similar unconventional fields, the Baker Hughes Artificial Lift Systems team recommended an electrical submersible pumping (ESP) system designed to handle the unique operating conditions of unconventional wells, including high gas-to-liquid ratios (GLR) and rapid decline rates.
