Nitrogen Equipment 

We own nitrogen equipment that can provide a wide range of temperatures, pressures, and flow rates to meet customer requirements. Our equipment is staged throughout the world, allowing us to mobilize and execute projects globally, with minimal cost impact for clients. The N₂ services fleet is fully mobile and independent of client-support facilities. We also have the ability to deliver nitrogen on the most remote projects – onshore and offshore, thanks to our large membrane and diesel compression spreads. Find out more here.

Leak Detection  

Leak detection services prevent small leaks from becoming bigger problems. Our services radically reduce leak detection time and give you better information faster, so your plant comes online as scheduled and stays online without false starts and unscheduled shutdowns to tighten bolts, reinstall valves, or fix broken seals. We ensure the integrity of industrial piping systems, even in remote, challenging, and hard-to-reach locations.

Nitrogen Helium Leak Detection  

As the world moves towards carbon neutrality, ensuring process systems are leak free on start-up and throughout their operational life is becoming increasingly important. An unplanned shutdown to repair problematic pressurized connectors can have a significant impact on the environment and create a substantial financial burden or the operator. The use of helium gas for detecting leaks is a well-established technique and, when used with mass spectrometer technology or a handheld leak detection system, it is the most accurate and repeatable test available.

Chemical Cleaning

At PPS we have extensive experience with chemical cleaning and flushing projects worldwide, whether your pipeline needs to be cleaned prior to inspection, conversion, or decommissioning, we can develop a custom cleaning program to facilitate the process. PPS utilizes an 
in-house lab and a plethora of historical data, gathered from years of experience, to optimize the cleaning program design to meet your pipeline cleaning goals.

Lube Oil Flushing

Lube oil flushing in the oil and gas marketplace is critical to pre-commission rotating equipment. Varying standards, flushing methodologies, reservoirs included in the flow path can sometimes over complicate the cleaning process, resulting in lengthy, inefficient operations, costing critical site time.

Tank Integrity Services 

Some industrial tanks when need to be emptied, can benefit the purging and cleaning services we can propose. This is typically the case for large tanks of white products. We can purge all products, organize the decontamination, and flare all residual gases, ensuring no leaks or atmospheric emissions. As a specialized chemicals manufacturer, we utilize our own range of Smartclean™ products for the decontamination sequence.

Marine LNG fuel system services

At Baker Hughes we are driving project efficiency and performance by applying our LNG process facility knowledge and experience to the shipping industry. The proprietary software we have developed specifically for marine LNG fuel systems simulates and optimizes degassing operations prior to tank maintenance and cryogenic cool down operations prior to LNG bunkering. We achieve this by using nitrogen gas at carefully controlled injection flow rates, pressure, and temperature. Our proven technology delivers the LNG fuel systems at the desired condition and within your project schedule.
