When dealing with high temperature environments, it is critical to have a spacer technology that maintains viscosity as pressures and temperatures increase. The XtremeBond™ spacer system is a water-based system designed to provide sufficient rheological properties in high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) well applications. The system’s patented technology enables its viscosity to increase at high temperatures (above 325°F) where conventional spacers begin to fail. In some circumstances, the system can also be used to mitigate lost circulation issues while cementing.
