Baker Hughes, a GE company, has a new site. Want to see how we’re inventing smarter ways to bring energy to the world?
Our surface control systems are the heart and brain of intelligent well completions, and they make interventionless flow control possible. Our InForce™ surface control systems (SCS) provide both the hydraulic power to activate downhole tools and the control logic to govern an intelligent well system.
Our efficient control systems will decrease CAPEX and OPEX, yielding you higher profits than a similar standard cased hole completion.
Match control system capability to your completion's complexity level
We offer two distinct classes of SCS. The standard SCS is a pneumatically driven, manually operated SCS designed for simple completion configurations with a minimum number of hydraulic devices and functions.
Our fully-automated SCS has a built-in programmable logic controller (PLC) used to control the functions of the InForce system for more complex completion configurations. This is also used in applications in which remote operation must be accomplished through existing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Both the standard and fully-automated SCS offer a wide range of features and options for all types of intelligent well system applications, from the simplest to the most sophisticated.
One of the most important features is the common graphical user interface and the extremely easy to use software. You can easily control your intelligent well locally or remotely via connection to a SCADA system.
