Overview
Baker Hughes turbines draw their high efficiency and reliability from decades of leading technology development and proven in-field experience of our multiple steam turbine and gas turbine lines.
Our modular design approach is extremely flexible in meeting the unique requirements of each project while delivering best-in-class reliability and efficiency. Built for the demanding environments of power plants, our units offer fast startup capabilities and stress-based rotor control, optimizing performance and maximizing electricity generation in plants with frequent start-stop cycles.
Our portfolio includes:
- Condensing and back pressure power plant units
- Multiple steam flow extractions or injections
- Single-flow or double-flow turbine configurations
- Axial or radial exhausts
- Baseplate and concrete-mounted solutions
Our SC/SAC/SNC/SANC series steam turbines feature both impulse and reaction blade designs, ensuring top plant efficiency across a wide range of high-pressure steam power generation operating conditions and industrial applications. Used in condensing or backpressure configurations, their modular design allows for a high degree of customization to meet specific steam cycle and steam power needs.
