Imaging the World from Nano to Macro, Together
Waygate Technologies proudly co-hosted the 2025 Multi-Scale Imaging Workshop at CEITEC, a prestigious gathering of scientists, industry experts, and imaging professionals from across Europe. With more than 130 attendees, the three-day event focused on the use of X-ray and CT technology in industry, as well as providing hands-on software training sessions, all with a focus on Earth and environmental sciences.
The first day of the workshop was dedicated entirely to X-ray and CT technology in industrial environments, and we were honored to lead it in partnership with CEITEC. The presentations covered a wide variety of industrial CT applications, ranging from failure analysis in automotive parts to void detection in electronics and porosity inspection in aerospace composites.
We showcased how our advanced CT solutions, such as the Phoenix V|tome|x series and data visualization tools, are being used to solve today’s most complex imaging challenges. Our experts also participated in roundtables addressing the future of AI-enhanced CT analysis, adaptive resolution scanning, and automation in quality assurance workflows.
This was followed by two Scientific Days with CEITEC and the EXCITE network, offering workshops on image analysis software like Dragonfly and Avizo, and excursions to our industry partners Thermo Fisher Scientific, TESCAN, and Delong Instruments.
For us, this workshop wasn’t just about presenting our technology, it was about creating community, nurturing partnerships, and building the future of non-destructive testing and 3D imaging together.
