Bently Nevada Earns Top Safety Award from Nevada's Safety Consultation and Training
MINDEN, Nev. – June 20, 2023 – The Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) of the State of Nevada's Division of Industrial Relations recognized Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, for successful renewal as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) participant for its headquarters facility in Minden, Nev. The program recognizes employers and workers who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries.
Bently Nevada has maintained its VPP status for nearly 20 years and continues to partner with SCATS consultants, reinforcing its commitment to operating safely and responsibly in a way that takes care of its employees, customers, partners, communities and the environment.

Participation in the no-cost program provides incentives and support to employers to develop, implement and continuously improve programs at their worksite(s). Taking these proactive measures helps businesses reduce accident costs and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) regulations.
