Baker Hughes Druck technology helps give Hawk Racing and Michael Dunlop the edge at iconic Isle of Man TT
Hawk Racing thanked the team at Druck, a Baker Hughes business, this week after its cutting-edge pressure measurement technology helped the team win the world-famous Isle of Man TT, including achieving a lap record (at an average speed of 134.5mph).
Amongst a range of data recorded by Druck’s sensors, Hawk’s Data Engineering Team was able to accurately determine front and rear brake pressure applied by rider, Michael Dunlop, and therefore optimize the dynamics of the motorcycle during braking to gain maximum performance on corner entry.
