DPS5000 digital communication pressure sensors from Druck, a Baker Hughes business, offer integrated digital electronics that enhance performance to levels unmatched by conventional analogue sensors. Robust and easy to use, Druck’s DPS5000 pressure sensors deliver connectivity that includes an I²C digital direct interface. As well, low-power characteristics offer an ideal solution for a range of applications, such as gas volume correctors/meters, water meters/data loggers, weather stations, and remote and wireless monitoring applications.
Druck’s TERPS – our Trench-Etched Resonant Pressure Sensor – combines accuracy, stability, reliability and strength unmatched by comparable pressure sensors. TERPS reduces the amount of time needed to calibrate a sensor, while robust sensor construction protects data quality and laboratory-level accuracy in harsh field environments, boosting the availability and performance of our customers’ assets.
Meteorological application
Druck's pressure sensor technology, with its high levels of accuracy and reliability, is enabling companies to optimize performance across a wide range of applications.
Druck's DPS5000 CANbus pressure sensors are the preferred choice of many automotive OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) for their automotive testing applications, whether on a test cell, engine test or other comparable applications. Druck also provides our 4300 and 4400 Series pressure sensors for motorsport applications in some of the world's toughest environments. View our video and download our brochure to learn more about the role our products perform in these automotive applications.

Druck’s TERPS (Trench Etched Resonant Pressure Sensor) combines accuracy, stability and robustness unmatched by pressure sensors of its kind. TERPS' stability renders our customers’ assets more readily available, with less time spent on calibration and servicing. TERPS' robust construction preserves data quality and provides laboratory-level accuracy, even in the world's toughest operating environments. The combination of these factors optimizes operating efficiency and reduces our customers’ cost of asset ownership.
The 8000 series uses has a fully isolated sensing element for harsh environments and pressure ranges to 200 bar (2900 psi) The 8100 series exposes silicon to the media for ultimate accuracy at low pressures up to 3.5 bar (50 psi) and is particularly suited to barometry. Both units are available with RS232, RS485, CANBus or USB communication.

Our sensor technology has been developed to support some of the most rigorous, challenging and precise applications while capturing accurate and reliable data. From Automotive to Oil and Gas, Power Generation to Semiconductor and Aerospace to Environmental Monitoring - learn how Druck pressure measurement solutions and services give our customers peace of mind in the toughest environments.

Druck have the DPS5000 as a range of digital output industrial sensors they all offer digital compensation and performance of 0.1% FS and use different protocols optimised for different application the DPS5000 I2C is a low power embedded product ideal for remote applications where power consumption is critical. The DPS5000 CANBus is a fast acting sensor with a fast CANOpen communication able to operate in the high temperatures on vehicles. The DPS5000 SDI-12 is a level sensor with such features as density correction and low frequency filtering optimised for low power remote level monitoring applications.
