Bently Nevada Opens Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics Services Center in Brazil

  • New center provides Latin America regional customers with access to diagnostics experts in local language

Bently Nevada, a Baker Hughes business, has announced the launch of a remote monitoring center in Campinas, Brazil to provide regional customers local access to monitoring, services, and support in local languages including English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The center is located at the Campinas hub which contains a hardware assembly shop, a newly renovated customer application center, and a state-of-the-art training facility. 

“This new remote monitoring center in Campinas enables remote delivery of Bently Nevada machinery monitoring and diagnostics expertise in near real time to support the critical operations of our customers in Brazil and throughout South and Central America,”  said Ed J. Boufarah, vice president of Bently Nevada at Baker Hughes. “With remote monitoring and diagnostics, we are investing for growth to continuously monitor the health of our customers’ equipment and provide machinery health insights required for optimal industrial asset management.”

The opening is an expansion of the already substantial global footprint beyond Bently Nevada’s six remote monitoring services centers in operation today, with 500+ professionals in 50 countries, which provide services that connect, monitor, and protect more than 5,000 customer assets at more than 100 unique customer sites, leveraging the network of more than 160 certified Bently Nevada machinery diagnostic engineers. Remote services can fully monitor customer assets in real time without burdensome cost and delays and mitigate safety risks associated with physical travel to customer sites.
