Highlights

Benefits

  • Amphibious ability and versatility (work in and out of water in any position)
  • Simple alignment: monoblock equipment with single shaft (no need to level motor and pump shafts)
  • Reduced civil and hydraulic installation costs: no need for engine room. Oil-free technology for environmentally friendly installation
Features

  • Sensors for remote control of motor's inner fluid level, temperature, vibration, speed, and pressure
  • Three-phase submersible IPW68 electric motors, available in both low and medium voltages
  • Pressure equalization system enables equipment to work under high pressures without damaging inner components
Applications

  • Irrigation
  • Mine dewatering
  • Stormwater and flood management; water transfer/pumping stations

Overview

Baker Hughes amphibious pumps (licensed by HIGRA in the European territory) are versatile, efficient, and reliable water-management solutions—with the ability to operate submerged in or out of water with no component changes.

Their unique design receives water flow through the flanged axial suction, passing through a centrifugal impeller alongside the motor—ensuring excellent thermal interchange, low noise (less than 60 dB), and high power efficiency.

Simplified installation makes these pumps extremely versatile with low maintenance and intervention requirements. Sustainability is a primary factor, from conceptual design through to installation and operation—ensuring minimal environmental impact in permanent preservation areas (PPAs).

State-of-the-art software enables field-condition simulations to optimize performance.
