Overview

Overview

Ensuring reliable well control in high-pressure, high-temperature (HP/HT) environments can pose many challenges to the long-term productivity of your well. REALM™ series HPHT tubing-retrievable, surface-controlled subsurface safety valves from Baker Hughes are designed specifically for HP/HT wells.

REALM safety valves incorporate proven features from the T-Series™ valves and state-of-the art technology to deliver the industry’s most dependable safety valve for these critical applications.

By utilizing absolute pressure ratings, the REALM safety valves reduce your operating costs. The control chamber, dynamic seal system, and rod piston can all withstand full differential pressures, eliminating the need to stage tubing pressures during installation. As a result, REALM valves lower the risks of over pressuring while minimizing your installation costs.

REALM safety valves incorporate cutting-edge design technologies, including a nonelastomeric dynamic seal assembly, metal-to-metal seal technology, a patented thru-the-flapper equalizing system, and RBT housing seals. These features, validated through rigorous testing, ensure that our safety valves provide reliable, robust protection against pressure drops and overall system failures—in even your harshest operating conditions.

Discover how REALM safety valves can provide well control while reducing costs in your HP/HT well operations.
