Jim Apostolides is Chief Infrastructure & Performance Officer for Baker Hughes. He is responsible for leading the Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE), Security, Digital Technology (DT), global Supply Chain Centers of Excellence (COEs), and Enterprise Shared Services. Apostolides is also accountable for the integration of a major strategic acquisition for Baker Hughes, Chart Industries. As executive integration leader he is responsible for ensuring a seamless and effective integration program that supports strategic growth and operational synergy.
Apostolides has more than 25 years of operational and multi-industry leadership. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Operational Excellence for Baker Hughes since 2020, leading the global Supply Chain COEs, Cash Operations, and Additive Manufacturing teams. In 2017, he was appointed VP of Materials Management, Logistics, and Cash Operations for the company.
Apostolides began his career in 1999 with GE and held roles of increasing responsibility, including managerial positions in Shop Operations, Materials, Sourcing, and Fulfillment across multiple continents. In 2010 he was appointed plant manager for GE Power & Water in Bangor, Maine, U.S..
Apostolides holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the U.S.
