Overview

Get assured production control in even the harshest environments with High-Pressure/High-Temperature (HP/HT) subsea trees from Baker Hughes. Our HP/HT trees incorporate more than 20 years of subsea field experience and build on decades of successful HP/HT equipment installations on land and offshore platforms.

Proven tree systems built for extremes

Whatever your production needs, our horizontal and vertical HP/HT trees are designed with integrity at their core. Built with the latest material innovations selected for challenging subsea conditions, our trees are rated to 10,000-ft (3,048-m) water depths, pressures up to 15,000 psi (1,034 bar), and flowing temperatures from 0°F to 350°F (-18°C to 177°C).

The horizontal HP/HT tree system leverages many of the same components as our proven 10,000-psi horizontal systems but includes several components designed explicitly for HP/HT applications. Tested to rigorous, industry-recognized qualification standards, the system reliably meets the performance demands of deep, hot, high-pressure wells.

Safer operations with high-integrity seals

You’re assured reliable isolation, containment, and control of your well fluids with the latest in proven sealing technology. Metal seals installed across valves, annular spaces, fluid passages, and downhole control systems provide the integrity you demand in your challenging well developments.

When your produced fluids contain higher levels of acid gases or solids, matched trims help provide superior corrosion and erosion resistance to your tree. Additionally, the HP/HT subsea tree systems incorporate our VG-300 valve product line for well barrier isolations, the high capacity of our DW-HTH4 tree connector for load support, and the capabilities of our tubing hangers that provide downhole conduits for improved operability.

Flexible functionality and streamlined delivery

Select from a wide range of configurable options with pre-engineered solutions that address the individual needs of every project. You’re also assured efficient delivery and deployment, with short cycle delivery using standard Baker Hughes materials and seamless connectivity to readily available installation and intervention packages. The trees allow you to add gas lift for later life depletion  and up to nine downhole function lines to minimize interventions and match well performance to changing production conditions.

Contact Baker Hughes today to learn how our HP/HT subsea tree systems can help you optimize production at the extremes of pressure, temperature, and water depth.
